Catherine A. Creighton
Catherine Creighton is a founding partner at Grant & Creighton PLC. Ms. Creighton handles all family law matters including divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, prenuptial and post-marital agreements. Over her many years of representation of clients in divorce cases, Ms. Creighton has acquired extensive experience handling complex financial and business divorce cases. She has successfully handled many difficult child custody related matters. She has significant trial experience and also has tremendous success working with her clients to effectively utilize mediation and other alternative dispute resolution resources to resolve divorce and family law issues.
Ms. Creighton also enjoys success as a private mediator assisting both parties in a divorce proceeding to resolve some or all issues without the need for court intervention. She mediates privately and through court appointment as a Judge Pro Tem for the Maricopa County Superior Court.
Ms. Creighton attended Arizona State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1987 from the Honors College. She then attended Arizona State University, Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree in 1990. She received certification in Advanced Family Law Mediation from the renowned Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law in 2007. Ms. Creighton has authored Arizona Legal Forms, 4 Domestic Relations.
